The original Carpow was started in the U.A.E. in 2000 by three British friends who saw a niche market for quality & dependable GPS survey support, and it has grown to be a trusted supplier of GPS solutions throughout Africa, Asia & the Middle East. The company is still 100% owned & run by the same people who started it, we are small, privately owned, & financially independent.

We have recently opened offices in the United Kingdom & Germany, allowing us to reach out to Europe, & are currently planning offices in the United States (Houston & Albuquerque).

This expansion has been possible due to eight years of sustained growth, allowing us to build an impressive equipment inventory of dual frequency RTK and single frequency GIS data capture systems. We are looking to repeat the success of our Middle East based cable manufacturing venture here in Europe, & we have opened an online eBay Store to aid this.
