Standard Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions of sale are available in full on request, but our standard terms include payment with order for new customers & payment within seven days of delivery for existing customers. Our standard delivery option is Courier & the cost of this is dependant on the size of the order. Please contact us for a quotation.

Goods will be dispatched as soon as possible after receipt of payment for new customers & receipt of purchase order for existing customers. Existing customer may place orders from supplied price lists,

Late payment will result in additional charges  being levied, these will be based on 2% (compound interest) of the total outstanding debt added per day. Plus a £10 administration fee. The outstanding invoices will be re-invoiced each month, with the resultant daily interest added until the debt is settled in full.

As our business is effectively retail mail order, we abide by the distance selling regulations which give the customer the right to return goods purchased from us by mail order up to 14 days after delivery. To comply, returned goods should be in the original packaging (if possible) & unused. A nominal restocking fee may be levied where this is appropriate. Your statutory rights remain unaffected & will be honoured.

Unless otherwise stated, all equipment is supplied with a one year back to base warranty, which excludes damage & normal wear & tear. All cables are covered with a 2 year back to base warranty on materials & workmanship. Any liability is limited to the cost of the equipment supplied,

Terms and conditions of sale are available in full on request, but our standard terms include payment with order for new and online customers & payment within seven days of date of dispatch for existing customers. Our standard delivery option is Courier for international orders & Royal Mail Registered Post for orders processed in the UK. The cost of Royal Mail starts at £2.50 per item & rises to a maximum of £25 (dependant on size & weight). Orders that are above £25 (due to weight restrictions using Royal Mail) will be dispatched as multiple packages. The cost of Courier delivery is dependant on the size & weight of the order. Please contact us for a quotation if you require your goods sent within the UK by courier. All overseas goods will be sent by courier. We charge the actual courier cost, plus 10% administration. If a customer has their own courier account, we are happy to use this & will not levy any administration charge in these circumstances.

Existing customer may place orders based on prices from supplied price lists, We aim to dispatch all orders for cables within 5 days of receipt of payment or order, if we will be unable to meet this timeframe we will contact the customer via email or telephone to agree an alternative delivery date, or to discuss alternative remedies. Equipment orders will be dispatched at a time frame that will be agreed with the customer. Carpow Support is not liable for delays due to courier collection & delivery or customs & other administrative delays out side of our control.

A nominal restocking fee may be levied where this is appropriate, which will not exceed 7% of the order value & will often be lower. Your UK statutory rights remain unaffected & will be honoured.

Unless otherwise stated, all equipment is supplied with a one year back to base warranty, which excludes damage & normal wear & tear. All cables are covered with a 2 year back to base warranty on materials & workmanship. Any financial liability is limited to the cost of the equipment supplied,

Privacy: We only hold such records as allow us to process your order and keep an internal record of the transaction. We do not supply any contact details to any third party (except when subject to legal requirement) & will never sell contact details to other organisations. Our online shopping cart system is operated by Google Checkout, meaning we never see your full credit card details. The only information we are supplied with is the name of the customer, the delivery address & any special delivery information. In the event that phone numbers are supplied to us, we will only use them for the purpose they were supplied to us for, namely to discuss an active order or remedy an issue with an order. Phone numbers will not be supplied to third parties.

Equipment rental: If a customer wishes to rent equipment, that customer must provide full insurance cover for the system rented while the equipment is on hire. Any damages or losses must be paid for at the replacement value. Substitution with alternative equipment is only permitted when prior agreement has been received. All rental & hire periods start when the equipment leaves our premises & ends when it is returned & determined to be in original condition.

Placing an order is deemed acceptance of these conditions.
